Ever since Laberico Narabida (2019) all my pieces are dealing with the elements. Sinfónía, Stífluhringurinn, Landvættirnar, Skorpma etc. all reflect this in some way. It is a play, a theater with four curtains, slowly revealing, interacting. Sometimes there is very little interacting, sometimes there is a lot. Sometimes it is obivious, sometimes it is not. Sometimes the elements sound all at the same time, sometimes one after the other. Each element may be contained in all the other elements, however, it remains distinct.
