Laughing seagulls, curious puffins, & vibrating snipes are sounds you can only get in the summer time if birds are around or nesting.
Puffins are leaving Iceland very soon & will spend the winter out in the Atlantic Ocean.
If a puffin looks you in the eyes the first time, that's a moment you will never forget.
We [Marcel and Libby] went to Látrabjarg in the Westfjords to record sounds & it was only us, a few other visitors & millions of birds.
Latraberg is Europes Sea-Bird Cliff. If you ever come to Iceland you have to visit.
We recorded more bird sounds in Snaefellsness, Hvitserkur, Thingvellir & birds in the forest in Haukadalur.
You can listen to a nice and calming wind. Look for the last two "Forest" recordings.
