Upplýsingar af Bandcamp:
Electro ambient in 3/4, metal marching groove band in 22/4 - this can't go wrong.
The title refers to that I think this treatment was an early version of a song called Skáldi fer með krymmu í sveitina. Otherwise, this is a song about darkness, and light, and the small ones that creak in the corners.

Upplýsingar af Bandcamp:
There is of course a perfectly good explanation why the song title refers to this particular sexual male-to-male preference, as it seems. It is however not a very short one.
Short bio of the song:
Lyrics written in the 90s to go with the GCD song "Kokteiltrúðar". The idea to do an album of songs by Bubbi but with lyrics exchanged for mine, was dropped before there was even a reason not to do it.
(late 90s) Song written as an instrumental with the idea to have a Steven Seagal monologue from On Deadly Grounds narrated in french over the mix, for reasons understandable to those who know the movie as well as the monologue in question, the song had to be titled L'homme. This also did not come to fruition.
(During millennia) This song joined with the lyrics but resulting in a slightly poor mix.
(The present) Song to be included in a christmas compilation, where all titles will most likely be renamed christmas-something. Christmas'L'homme did not really fly so option number two came into being.

Always rewarding and creative process it is to mix impossible tracks, By impossible I mean, they bear some damage or unpleasant tonality but are irreplaceable. Nothing is ever really impossible, you just have to find a way. One is to reroute the tracks through new or other audio units, and then either have another single track with less of what you were trying to filter out, or an additional track which strengthens the existing one in other dimensions, giving you more range to cut from the original track.
The emotional content of the song? Just the typical lovesicksadness most people experience during the holidays. People are used to a rather stereotypical melancholia which they can wallow in and enjoy, the point was rather to put the pain back into the painful, you shouldn´t enjoy this feeling unless in a very perverse manner, and be ashamed as well, when you reflect on why you seek this pain.

Upplýsingar af Bandcamp:
This song came through a conscious stream, I only set the metronome to certain speed which I have no idea how I decided upon, and then strummed out the guitar and narration in one take. The sanctity of the narrator's moment in folklore is not to be trifled with, so nothing was fixed or redone, in the main content at least. Some additional instrument parts were allowed, but they couldn't be fixed after they had been recorded. No meddling was justified except live routing of the channels into delay and modulation units, as they have a moment of their own.
As the emotional content was delivered to me rather than me thinking it out, I had no egotistic need to fully understand the meaning of the fable. Thus, for the non-scandinavians; this is a mythological song about the women's lib.
