Tale of Tales is the first of many releases that we define as samplers. The samplers provide insight into the label’s artist pool, a mini documentation. In this first Tale we have four different Icelandic artists that have been prominent lately in the Reykjavik electronic scene.
Magnus “Magnoose” Skarphedinsson opens up the EP with a dark and groovy track followed by a little bit more of an atmospheric track; Refractions, from the label heads Viktor Birgisson and Jonbjorn Finnbogason a.k.a. Lagaffe Tales. The track features the old school sound of the 707 along with some impressive synth melodies. The Salzburg based producer Magnus “Moff & Tarkin” Felix continues to impress with another banger of a track that features nice loopy sampling action and the trademark Moff & Tarkin synth sound. Last but not least we got the honor of releasing a track by Iceland’s most productive and famous hip hop producers Intro Beats that has been very busy with house production for the last two years. The Silly Walkin track closes up the Tale on a dance peak and should mark Intro Beats well into the deep house scene. We are excited for the coming times at the label and have much more to present in the future.

Last but not least we got the honor of releasing a track by Iceland’s most productive and famous hip hop producers Intro Beats that has been very busy with house production for the last two years. The Silly Walkin track closes up the Tale on a dance peak and should mark Intro Beats well into the deep house scene. We are excited for the coming times at the label and have much more to present in the future.

Tale of Tales is the first of many releases that we define as samplers. The samplers provide insight into the label’s artist pool, a mini documentation. In this first Tale we have four different Icelandic artists that have been prominent lately in the Reykjavik electronic scene.
Magnus “Magnoose” Skarphedinsson opens up the EP with a dark and groovy track followed by a little bit more of an atmospheric track; Refractions, from the label heads Viktor Birgisson and Jonbjorn Finnbogason a.k.a. Lagaffe Tales. The track features the old school sound of the 707 along with some impressive synth melodies. The Salzburg based producer Magnus “Moff & Tarkin” Felix continues to impress with another banger of a track that features nice loopy sampling action and the trademark Moff & Tarkin synth sound.
